According to the US Labor Department, after paying income taxes, housing, and  transportation, the average family has $770.00 a month of discretionary income  to spend as they wish.  To start earning business income, a consumer simply  begins to redirect some of that $770.00 from the stores where they previously  shopped, to stores that participate in his/her business and learn to develop  some retail customers. While at the 3% level, businesses are recommended to only  use or sell those items that are well priced and/or have high profit margins.

Seasoned business owners show new businesses which stores and/or products are the best buys and the best products to use or sell.
