What is pH?
pH is a scientific measurement for determining if something is an acid or an alkali (base).  The pH scale is divided into fourteen divisions, from zero to fourteen.  Divisions zero through seven are acid.  Divisions seven through fourteen are alkaline (base).  pH of seven is neither acid nor alkaline, but is considered neutral.

pH as an acronym for "potential hyrdogen" because the pH of water is a measure of the quantity of hydrogen ions (H+) in it.   If hydrogen ions are high, the pH is low, and the water is acidic.  If the hydrogen ions are low, the pH is high and the water is alkaline.

pH is a logarithmic scale.  The difference in hydrogen ion concentration between water at pH 8.5 and water at pH 7.5 is not 1.0, but actually indicates ten times more hydrogen ions.

Ordinary or distilled water is neutral (pH 7.0), sugary soft drinks like Colas are acidic at about pH 2.5 and REDOX water has a pH ranging from pH 8.0 after one hour brew time to pH 10.0 after four hours of brew time.

What is ORP?
ORP is an acronym for the words Oxidation Reduction Potential and is similar to the nutritionists term ORAC or Oxygen Radical Acquisition Capacity.  ORP is primarily used with water and describes millivolts of stored electrical charge.  ORAC is primarily used with food such as Vitamin C.  

ORAC refers to the release of millivolts of electrical charge by means of chemical reactions inside the body. ORP is unstable, typically dissipating in one to three days.  ORAC is quite stable with a good shelf life.  For example, fresh squeezed orange juice contains both ORP and ORAC.  The ORP will dissipate in a matter of hours (sometimes minutes), while the ORAC will take days (sometimes weeks) to diminish.  Both ORP and ORAC are measurements of a substance's ability to neutralize free radicals in the body.

Free radicals are oxygen molecules that are missing one or more of their eight electrons.  Antioxidants, like Vitamin C, are called antioxidants because they have extra electrons with which they can neutralize free radicals by donating their extra electrons to the electron deficient free radical.  REDOX water is not an antioxidant, but functions like an anitoxidant because of the ORP.

Electrons are actually a type of an electric charge.   (Electricity got its name because it is a stream of electrons.)  The alkaline portion of REDOX water retains a minuscule negative electrical charge (1/1000 of a volt) resulting from splitting a water molecule with direct current electricity (measured in volts).  The electric voltage which split the water molecule is not the residual electrical charge, or ORP.  The electrons from the split water molecule create the electrical charge which is measured in millivolts (1/1000 of a volt), or ORP.  Like pH, the ORP electrical charge is not linear.  The ORP scale is 69% of a logarithmic scale.

REDOX water's negative electrical charge is not technically an antioxidant because it is not a food.  REDOX water functions like an antioxidant because it can donate a surplus electron to any electron difficient oxygen molecule (free radical), or any molecule that has had an electron robbed by a free radical, or any toxin which is electron deficient (most toxins and some heavy metals).  ORP is probably the most signficant benefit of REDOX water because of the vast amounts of electrons that can be donated, as needed, anywhere in the body, almost instantaneously ... with no side effects.
  
For comparison, fresh squeezed orange juice carries a negative electrical charge of about -100 millivolts.  Because the millivolts dissipate quickly, the fresh squeezed orange juice needs to be consumed within a hour.  Based on the 69% logarithmic scale, when comparing REDOX water (with -200 millivolts ORP) to fresh squeezed orange juice, a person would have to drink 6.9 glasses of fresh squeezed orange juice to yield the same antioxidant capacity as one glass of REDOX water.  REDOX water can also be brewed until the ORP measures in excess of -700 millivolts.  Comparing one glass of -700 millivolt REDOX water to the -100 millivolts of ORP from fresh squeezed orange juice, one would have to consume gallons of fresh squeezed orange juice to achieve similar levels of Oxidation Reduction Potential.

NOTE: This does NOT mean that
REDOX water is more nutritious than orange juice.  In fact, REDOX water does not contain any nutrients at all. However, most people can easily drink a few glasses of REDOX water a day, every day.  Very few people can drink 6.9 glasses (1/2 gallon) of fresh squeezed orange juice everyday.  So, drink your glass of fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning and then drink REDOX water during the day.
What is Micro-Clustered Water?

We tend to think of a water as just bunch of individual water molecules.  And that is true, it is.  However, the water molecules are not individual molecules which somehow form a substance we call water.  The water molecules join together in clumps or clusters that are held together by a small electric bond, called a valent or co-valent bond.  

The large clusters of water molecules, the less easily the water cluster enter, and exit, the cells of the body.  The smaller the clusters of water molecules the more easily the water clusters enter and exit the cells of the body. Water clusters carry nutrients into the cells of the body, and remove waste material when they exit the cells of the body.  So, you can see how a small water cluster might be of benefit to the cells of your body.  Which direct benefits ... you.

Regular tap water forms clusters of about twelve water molecules.  
REDOX water forms clusters of about six molecules.  By entering the cells of the body more easily, REDOX water is more hydrating while supplying more nutrients.  By exiting the cells of the body more easily, REDOX water can carry away more waste material and toxins from the cells of your body ... from you.
